"Straight lines are boring!"

Dave Thomas is the man behind Lone Wolf Ranch. He is a craftsman with over 35 years experience in woodworking. He first learned to work with wood as a trade for fixing a friend's motorbike - he hasn't looked back since!

In the 20 years he's been at Lone Wolf Ranch in Central Texas, Dave has developed his boxes and cajóns into the wonderful, handcrafted creations you see today.

Wood

The woods Dave uses in his boxes and cajóns highlight the natural beauty and color found in nature. From purple or yellow heart, and lace wood from Central and South America, to padauk and wenge from West and Central Africa, or walnut or curly maple from North America, the natural colors and patterns are brought to life in Dave's designs.

Quality control at Lone Wolf Ranch is very strict! To make sure you get the very highest quality product, each box and cajón is created with the greatest care and subjected to intense quality control...
